Summary: Deep in the Philippines, Blood Island stirs again. But is it the one Dr. Lorca inhabited? Could be, considering all the freaky plant life and actor John Ashley's presence. But the villain isn't any mad doctor. Rather, something a bit more depraved.

History: On Blood Island, the natives live in constant fear. The nuclear bomb tests nearby have caused the flora and fauna to go completely insane, twisting into grotesque living terrors like man-eating vines and even deadly butterflies. But the most terrifying inhabitant is a man. Esteban Powers and his wife were caught in the tests as well. The latter died, but the former took on a new persona every night. In the darkness, as the mutated forest came to life, he would turn into a horrible plant monster that the fearful natives would offer beautiful women not for food, but for depraved sexual acts that ended with the women disemboweled. Then a crew of foreigners showed up.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: One of the surviving crewmates galvanizes the tribe into fighting against Esteban so that the sacrifices can end. They corner him into a hut that they soon burn to the ground with him in it. After crawling out, he reverts to human form before death.

Powers/Abilities: None except strength.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Esteban is a horrible person, but his face is a bit too rubbery to be afraid of. He's also pretty stiff in his movement.

Trivia: -Ashely claims that he starred in this film to get away from his failed marriage and his country as a whole. At least he enjoyed himself.

-The film's director was Eddie Romero, one of the Philippines most respected directors.
